The Netherlands must be accessible to everyone, but how? This was discussed by Secretary of State Vivianne Heijnen, administrators, organizations, but most importantly: the users during the conference ‘Accessibility for Everyone’.
“The right to accessibility should be a basic right, just as everyone in the Netherlands has the right to, for example, education. We will also establish this right in a new mobility vision. The main points will soon be sent to the House of Representatives. I definitely believe this will help raise awareness and address transportation inequality,” said the Secretary of State in her opening speech.
